Tell Us Your "Charter Horse" Story

Remember the Trojan Horse from Greek mythology?  The Greeks filled a wooden horse with soldiers and left it at the gates of Troy as a peace offering.  The Trojans bought the trick and wheeled the horse into their city.  That night the soldiers jumped out of the horse, slaughtered the Trojans and captured their city.  Like the Trojan horse, charter schools look great but contain very dangerous elements that have the power to destroy our public school system.  Some of these charter soldiers know exactly what they’re doing and have a plan to tear down the public school system and replace it with a charter system which is privately controlled.  Others mean well but actually cause unintentional harm in the process.

We want to hear your “Charter Horse” war stories.  Are you a student, parent, teacher or staff member who has had a bad experience with a charter school?  What are your stories?  We want to hear them!
